CONGRATULATIONS TO NEW TEAM USA MEMBERS

Each year members of our team try out for a spot in a Team USA boat. Making the team from Heart and Soul, for 2023, are Danielle Raines, Maria Cochran, Beth Gitlin, and Jenny Lyons.

From team member Maria, “The journey, while challenging and stressful at times, has been life-changing. In addition to the physical well-being you achieve through this process, spending time with and getting to know the coaches and like-minded paddlers from around the country changes your perspective and raises the bar for future goals. I am also so thankful to have a group of committed women and men to train with right here in my “backyard.” Many of the people we have met from other areas have to train on their own. Having this motivational group is a huge advantage.”
